My father lived on his own until he was 92 years old. After the stroke, he could not get by without lots of help from others and this became a source of high frustration (and therefore high blood pressure) for him. In his opinion, the hospital and nursing home staff keep changing the rules on how they assist him (every person does it differently) and none of them knew the RIGHT way. QC Home Support Services was able to provide us with people to assist my father during the daytime. With the same people assisting him in the same fashion every day, he has been able to calm down and be comfortable. For him, consistency in all of the small things seems more like he is doing it himself. With this consistency, he finds comfort and to me and my sister, that has been very important.
